EMPLOYEE TECHNOLOGY PROTECTION PLAN TERMS AND AGREEMENT
NBISD will assist all employees with one accidental broken/lost/stolen claim per year at no cost to the employee. This one claim is per year, not per device, regardless of how many devices the employee is responsible for. All claims will be investigated on a case-by-case basis and will not be covered if the district determines intentional damage occurred or employee negligence on a lost or stolen item. A stolen claim must be accompanied by a police report. In cases of theft, vandalism and other criminal acts, the employee MUST file a police or fire report. A copy of the police/fire report must be provided to NBISD within two weeks of the incident.
If an employee does file a claim on a piece of hardware, the employee will then be offered the optional Employee Protection Plan for the remainder of the year. After a claim, the details of the Employee Protection plan below will be in effect relative to the employee opting in or out.
