The NBISD Technology Protection Plan is optional for all employees. If you choose not to participate in our protection plan, you will be responsible for the full price of any repair, lost or stolen iPad and/or laptop.
TECHNOLOGY PROTECTION PLAN TERMS AND AGREEMENT —> NBISD will assist employees who have paid the NBISD Protection Plan with two repair claims per year (per device paid), and one lost or stolen claim per year (per device paid), as listed below in the chart. The employee will be responsible for the full payment for any claims above and beyond these limits. The payment is nonrefundable. Payments will not be prorated for partial years or semesters. In cases of theft, vandalism and other criminal acts, the employee MUST file a police or fire report. A copy of the police/fire report must be provided to NBISD within two weeks of the incident. The protection plan will not cover the loss/damage of chargers or case. Employees will be responsible for the full cost to replace those items.
The 2022-2023 Employee Technology Protection Plan coverage begins September 1, 2022 and runs through August 31, 2023. Your coverage begins on the date of purchase and is not retroactive to a date prior to your purchase date.
